The Demiurge development team
Demiurge is a genetic diversity information system that follows GBIF standards of data interchange and structure, and is a joint development of eight Canarian institutions:
- • the Jardín Botánico Canario “Viera y Clavijo” – Unidad Asociada CSIC (Cabildo de Gran Canaria),
- • the Instituto Tecnológico de Canarias (Gobierno de Canarias),
- • Mr. Bicho Dynamic web applications,
- • The Agile Monkeys
- • Jablesoft
- • Inventiaplus
- • Claudesign: branding and design, and
- • the Fundación Canaria Amurga-Maspalomas
Transformer-4 (T4) is the present matrix publication and analysis software in Demiurge, and it was developed by the Jardín Botánico Canario “Viera y Clavijo” – Unidad Asociada CSIC (Cabildo de Gran Canaria), the Instituto Tecnológico de Canarias (Gobierno de Canarias), Jablesoft and Inventiaplus.
These deliverables originated from activities of the project DEMIURGO (MAC/1/C20) that were co-funded by the Programa de Cooperación Transnacional Madeira-Açores-Canarias (that furnished 85% of the budget through FEDER funds), and the two first afore-mentioned Canarian institutions (that provided the remaining 15% budget).
